I'm sure that this will get me a boat load of negative comments, but I feel pretty strong about it. I've been a professional woodworker for 40 years, still have all my digits. I've found that any blade guard installed on a table saw creates more of a hazard than helps to stop one. They block your visibility and our just plain in the way. On the quiz, got it in 5 clicks.

The shop I work in has one of these saws, the 220v version. The saw stop safety feature is awsome but I doubt if it could be retro fitted on another brand saw. There's a lot going on in the guts. A word of warning be sure and disengage the safety before cutting pressure treated wood or brass plates (for plaques) it will drop the blade like a rock and it will cost you $50-60 bucks. This system works on a low voltage circuit making contact and actuating the stop. The saw over all is real sweet a pleasure to use.
