Bedroom Dresser
This is the first piece of a bedroom set for my wife. Made from Walnut and maple. Of course FW ran the matching woods article after I got this done! You know, the one that says do not mix...

Gerald Curry Sideboard
I made this copy of Gerald Curry's sideboard for my daughter. I saw the original in Fine Woodworking and he was kind enough to let me make a copy.

Thanks! I was looking for a way to use small crystals and gemstones as knobs on small boxes. Epoxy the stone to the rivet and attach to the box. Should work well.

I'm with KMACK. I have the DVR set to record the series. I've already learned a few new things. I don't recall Norm or David Marks ever devote a show on dovetails.

Us retired police officers just reconfigure our Kevlar vests. Works great although it can get a little hot in summer.

Has anyone heard of this: Exterior Alkyd paint!. Deep tint base thinned 50/50 for the first few coats and then 40/60. Its grey in the can but dries crystal clear. Has the UV protection and toughness of exterior paint.
posted: 9:00 am on May 14thWhen I first heard of this, I did not believe it. The guy who told me about it tested it on some doors he left out in the Texas sun for years. I used this method on the front door I made last summer. It does not have a storm and got beat by the tough Michigan winter we had this year and looks great. It works!
