Re: The Ghostly Woodworker

Great video. Awesome shop with serious tools! I love the chair but the arms should have been rounded over at the front and along the edges. Great job all around.

Re: UPDATE: In the Greene & Greene Style: Projects and Details for the Woodworker by Darrell Peart

I really need to build something in the Green & Green style one of these days. The book would provide motivation and direction.

Re: UPDATE: Turning Wood with Richard Raffan, 3rd edition

Inherited an old lathe but don't know how to turn.
This book would be great for me to learn.
So sign me up before the eighth
and please don't be late.

Re: Workbench Medly

I really like the idea of the two t-tracks. Clever. Two cross tracks might make the bench even more useful.

Re: Plane Irons and Chisels Need a Flat, Polished Back

What were the actual grits used in this process? Not a well written article from a source, FWW, which is known for good writing.

Re: UPDATE: Renaissance Intarsia, edited by Luca Trevisan

Hope I win! Thanks for the chance.

Re: UPDATE:French Polishing: Finishing and restoring using traditional techniques by Derek Jones

Re: Self-Centering Mortising Base for the Router

Looks wobbly to me, especially on thin stock.. I'll keep using my router table, thank you.

Re: UPDATE: The Foundations of Better Woodworking by Jeff Miller

I'm not kwerkusalba even tho that name comes up every time I enter a contest on this website. I'm woodguy43@gmail.com and I'd love to win this book. Thanks

Re: UPDATE: Arts & Crafts Style Coffee Table with Gregory Paolini

How come I'm not recognized as woodguy43 and who is Kwerkusalba anyway???

Re: UPDATE: Arts & Crafts Style Coffee Table with Gregory Paolini

Why can I not post under my own name? Why does it always go up under Kwerkusalba instead of woodguy43@gmail.com?

Re: Win an all-access pass to Fine Woodworking Live!

How come my post is identified as Kwerkusalba even though I'm a member, logged in and signed in as Woodguy43@gmail.com???

Re: Win an all-access pass to Fine Woodworking Live!

I'll be in NYC anyway to see my new grand daughter!

Re: UPDATE: Dovetail Techniques with Stephen Hammer

I'll take all the advice I can get on dovetails.

Re: California Considers Tougher Safety Standards for Tablesaws

I agree 100% with amorris101 and the others who support regulation. Without it, the snake oil salesmen and con men would have a field day. At least with regulation they can be caught and stopped. Regulation is not perfect, a reflection of the human condition. Yet it does work most of the time. Like taxes, it is the price we pay for living in a civilized society of 300+ million. I support the California effort!
