Intarsia is such an over-the-top use of wood. The book looks interesting.
I've wanted to learn carving for a while, and have some furniture ideas that would require carving in the round. These look like good resources for me to learn from, so I'll be happy to win them. Just contact me for my address!

So many beginner's books cover the same territory - a list of tools, basic layout, etc. This one has some interesting, but important, new approaches. Put me on the list to win it. No, better yet, pick my name!
A lot of workshop setup books are so basic in their recommendations that they're pretty well useless.
This one, with the layouts of tools, looks like it could have a lot of very practical advice.

From the reviews, it sounds like a book that includes design concepts, not just how to use the tools - that's great, because so many books leave out this most important skill.

That's a pretty amazing-looking bandsaw fence.
Good to see a book on maintaining old work, instead of making new. From the cover, it looks a step up from a lot of the furniture repair books in my county library. Please put my name in the hat.
