I love your design. I am in fact trying to design a similar bookcase with the same finger joints at the top of the carcass. I want the relationship of the fingers and ebony plugs to be as harmonious as your design. I planned on using 1" thick mahogany boards and 3/8" ebony plugs. What was the sizing of your boards with relationship to the plug size....is it 3/4" and a 1/4" plug? Since you probably went through a similar process in your own design, any insights would be tremenduosly helpfull.
