After spending a weekend at Pt Townsend Woodworking School with Jim Tolpin using their Lie Nielsen and Veritas planes, I'm hooked! I really like the Veritas bevel-up planes: Smoother, Jack and Jointer!

I've just come into possession of a drop front desk built by my maternal grandfather back in the early 20th century. It clearly needs restoring, and I want to bring it back to its original glory. This book sounds like it would have lots of advice about just this kind of project!
