In step #5 you're using a miter gauge with a rip fence. I've always read that this is dangerous and asking for kick back. Is it OK because it's not a through cut?
thanks so much for this! I've been working with tapered polygons and doing it badly. I just reworked an earlier design using this method in a fraction of the time and now I know it's accurate.
I took a class with Jeff and have his Beds book, would love to read more of his wisdom
