Having done everything from factory work, military service and now after years of custom home design experience i find myself designing timber frame homes for a little shop here in Crossville, TN,Homestead Timber Frames. Great company filled full of craftsman and I find myself lured to the creative expression in woodworking. I hope that as my experience grows my passion for the craft will not only enrich those around me through the pieces that i build but I myself will be enriched, matured, and counted among the many craftsman of old whose love for wood and art inspired them to build pieces that brought them as much joy as it brought the people they built them for.

Thank you for your comment on my wife's pantry cabinet. It means a lot from a skilled craftsman. Your desk is beautiful. The dovetail joinery is gorgeous and the ebony handles are a nice touch. Beautiful, Beautiful desk. Thanks

Thanks all for the comments. It was a fun project that definitely spurred the desire for many more in the future. Walt...You are right. The cabinet is now full and everything that was put in there from the cramped cabinets has us now pretty well spread out in the kitchen. I believe the next objective will be a Buffet Hutch. Then i'll just have to figure out where to put it. lol Thanks again for the kind words everybody. It is very encouraging. Happy New Year!

I really like this. Nice job and great inginuity with the pivots. I like how all three boxes were slightly different and the rocks with the lid carved around them is a really cool detail. KUDOS!

If i remember right, you said in another comment that you cut the pieces with a scroll saw right? The set and table are very cool and the pieces had to take quite some time to create. I like!!!!!!!

Very nice tables. I hope that sometime in 2010 i will be able to move to traditional joinery pieces and produce some really nice furniture.

Very cool idea and great workmanship. I just started building pieces this year....Actually two weeks ago. I will have to tackle one that does not require plywood as well! Great Job!
