You want to reduce table saw injuries? Don't let morons use table saws. I don't care what kind of safeguards are applied to piece of equipment, stupid people will always find ever more creative ways of injuring/killing themselves. I have been using a table saw for many years and never once have I thought it would be a good idea to remove all safety features and try to rip a piece of oak without the rip fence.
