Re: Eye Candy
HI Andy. I absolutely Love the box you made. It sure is eye-candy to me. Other than the great colorful contrast in the woods I am very impressed with how you shaped the whole box. Each side is different and skillfully molded. Very nice work.

Re: UPDATE: DVD Giveaway: Wood Science & Design by Hendrik Varju
I have taken a couple of private lessons with Hendrik on hand cutting dovetail joints. He is very percise as I am sure the content is in this new publication. Thank you for the opportunity to win a copy of these DVD's.

Re: walnut jewelry box
Wayne, you have really created an amazing piece here. Too good to be referred to as a 'box'. Rather it is a fine piece of artwork. Your command of the walnuts grain is quite inspiring, especially the way the book-matching was done on the lower portion. The look of the grain just 'pops' up at you. Great focal area.

Very impressive work Wayne. Well done.

Re: Pro Portfolio: Michael Hurwitz: Planks into Poetry
Thank you for exposing us to some very original and inspiring work. It is always great to see high quality work by those who are able to think outside the box. I envy his ability to create amazing designs and then figure out just how to build them. I marvel at how he has blended numerous materials other than wood and kept it all together.

Re: Chess Table, Chairs & Chess Pieces
WOW, this is truly a master center piece in any room. I admire your choice of woods, your design and mostly your skills in being able to create not just one set but three sets. I give you a 10.

Re: Huntboard (based on Garrett Hack's)
This being your first real project is quite amazing. It takes awhile to develop the skills necessary to make such a wonderful piece. You should be very proud of yourself. WOW.

Dennis, I am so sorry to hear about your sisters passing. Please accept my warm condolences. The box you have designed and built is a beautiful piece of work in her honor. I hope that viewing this open piece of art will bring back good memories of your sister.

Re: Dancer
David, you have really created something wonderful here. I too enjoy building boxes and search out ideas to incorporate into my own work. This box is stunning. The design work on this box has to be recognized as exceptional. Everything flows smoothly. The curves added to the rectangular box complement the piece in a unique way.

Re: Hall table
I really like your hall table. It looks wonderful. I have one question. For the top piece you have used two types of wood. What method did you use so that when the large center piece expands in the spring and summer months it does not damage the outer wood frame? Please advise what precautions you have taken.
