Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Back to Basics: Setting Up Your Workshop from Fox Chapel Publishing

Couldn't come out at a better time. I am looking at setting up shop in my tiny garage and need all the advice and ideas I can get. Thanks for the book.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: How to Make Picture Frames, from American Woodworker

Like many others have said, this would be a great book to have. I suffer from a common household malady, lack of frameitis, ie. lots of art and pictures but no frames to go with them because I'm too frugal to pay more for the frame than the art.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Workshop Machines

One can never have enough books. Woodworking is like cooking and no two people do it the same way, so having multiple sources to review makes it that much more likely I'll find a way to do something that makes sense to me and is comfortable. Thanks for the book.

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: 500 Tables (Updated with winner)

I'm not sure, do I want fries with that?

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Windsor Chairmaking by James Mursell

This sounds like a very interesting book. I have never given much thought to making these kind of chairs but with the right info and instructions that could change!

Re: Still don't have a workbench? This one is easy

Ok forget my last comment. I finally did find the second half of the workbench video. It was near the end of the Season 1 videos. If I may be so bold as to suggest it goes first so you can watch the first video and then follow the link to the beginner section and it will be right there and easy to find. Just a thought Thx.

Re: Still don't have a workbench? This one is easy

It looks like a great inexpensive bench to get started with. The only problem I have with it is where is the second video? I've looked high and low and can't find it. Is this a technical opps or am I just not smart enough to find it.

Hope to see it soon Thx.

Re: UPDATED: What Tools Are on Your Holiday Wish List?

I could use a ton of stuff but a number of little things come to mind. A nice veritas depth marking gauge, a cabinet scraper, an random orbital palm sander, a dust collecting unit, a jointer, a Sawstop contractor saw and whole bunch of other things I don't even know that I need yet.
