Re: Mitering Moldings

Excellent explanation of how to miter moldings. I've spent many hours rying to do just that with mixed success. Thanks for showing us a simple way to accomplish this task.

daltxguy,

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find a clear explanation anywhere. How did you discover this?

Re: CutList 4.1.1 -- A More In Depth Look

I agree - CutList is one of the most useful plugins I have. I have questions about the kerf option.

1. What is the first box for? Is it the size of the blade (eg: 10")?
2. Why isn't there an option for 3/32" kerf width? It is the most common thin kerf.

Thanks.

Dave

Re: Create Shop Drawings

Question: Do you add the dimensions on Layer 0? Or, do you keep the dimensions on various layers depending on the scene? It seems the model would get very cluttered if all dimensions were visible all the time.

Re: Converting a Follow Me Molding to Separate Components

Thanks for answering the question. Your videos are most helpful.

Re: Drawing a Turning Gouge

Thank you. An excellent training video. You answered a multitude of questions (probably without realizing you were doing so). I guess only practice will bring someone to the point where they would think of using a cone to define the bevel of he gouge. Great example to make me think of ways to do other similar tasks. Again, thanks.
