Five Drawer Chest

Classic five drawer chest in the Connecticut style.  Wood is tiger maple.  Secondary wood is pine.  Finish is oil, amber shellac hand rubbed with rottenstone and 3 coats of wax.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you liked the legs, though I think they may be a bit to curvy. The exposed dovetails on the top is something Eldred Wheeler does a great deal of and I liked it, so I tried it.

The bail up was an ooops moment.

The chair is beautiful. Wish you had provided some detail pix. I am curious how you upolstered the chair? What was the filler? I've been looking to do the same type for the footstool I submitted, but so far have come up empty. Thanks.
