Absolutely awe inspiring. I agree completely. If you are tempted to call something "bad wood" it just means you are too lazy to find a way to use that wood.

Now I just have to improve my skills so I can live up to that ideal...

Both seminars were great! I learned a bunch and will apply that knowledge to my scraping and hand plane restoration immediately (I've got quite the back log of hand planes to tune up/restore).

I plan to attend the St. Louis show and would really like to watch your restoration work. The schedule for the St. Louis show has you under "Hand Tool Rodeo" with two other presenters and doesn't specify when your sessions will occur. For the "Hand Tool Rodeo" it has:
