posted: 3:34 am on November 16thRe: Have you seen Tommy Mac's new woodworking show? Let us know what you think.
Yes, I heard it said, "I'm not Norm, won't be like Norm, won't do it like Norm, don't want to be like Norm."
posted: 1:02 pm on October 14thI guess I'm just from the old school....give me Norm. The show was okay, it will improve with time. If it doesn't, it won't be on for any length of time. For Tom...may it last forever. I just won't be one of those watching. Good luck.
Re: Is the Radial Arm Saw on its Last Legs?
Wow!!! What an issue. First off, leave mine in my shop. I've had it since 1973. Still have all my arms...hands...fingers...and comman sense!!!!!!
posted: 2:56 am on July 16thTo the gentleman who said contact him, and he would show us pictures that his Dad has of people who have injured themselves with the Radial Arm saw. So, what is your point? I'll show you pictures of 36.8 million people who have died because of self inflicted gun shots, people killed not wearing seat belts, drunk people killing innocent people, abortions performed for convenience, people killed in the name of GOD!!! Sure, accidents happen, and it maybe my day tomorrow. But come on...get a life!! It is a tool. Use it as designed to be used. Yes, there may be more shops who don't have a Radial Arm saw compared to those who do.
We all just read the story of "Less Brain Today" who was awarded big money because he was injured on a table saw!! What he needs is a "Brain Implant" by a doctor. You get my point??
What will it be tomorrow that we will debate??
Why we should not sniff "GLUE" in our shops??
Re: More Details on the Carlos Osorio Tablesaw Lawsuit
Well, I have read enough. Let's move on to something that will, "Make My Day." The dog has been beaten dead. Have a great day.

Thanks for the update and details on the story of Carlos. Okay...lets see if I can get this right. I read the story of Carlos sometime ago, on how he injured himself on the table saw. To whom ever, please read with insight, and not far sided insight. Number 1...pour water into the boot at the top, turn end-for-end to pour water out. Number 2...if you spit into the wind, you will receive an unwanted shower, or if you p--- into the wind, you will receive an unwanted boot wash. Number 3...After all steps have been taken, you must push the gas pedal to move the car. Number 4...Hot coffee will burn you. Number 5...there must be beef in the hamburger, to call it a beef burger. Number 6...Don't squeeze the Charmin...is that before or after you use it. Number 7...if it's not broke, don't fix it. Number 8...you can't row a boat into a stiff wind, and expect to win. Number 9...don't p-ss off the Pope, he will not like you. Number 10...if you don't understand what I'm saying, don't turn on the table saw. P.S. Forty Three years in the wood shop, and I'm still accident free. Thank you Jesus!! Have a Great Day and a Great Career.

Truly the work of a master. The time, the skill, and the commitment, are second to none. Oh yes, and the ivory. I will take ten truck loads, any size, any shape. Ship to anywhere in the GREAT USA and I will pick it up. Let's see...can't kill Whales.... can't cut down Trees...the East Coast is setting records in Snow depth, must be global freeze instead of global warming... can't mine Gold Ore any more...must save the Bull Trout...some political people don't have to pay taxes...and yes, we can Abort Babies.
posted: 7:21 pm on February 10thI guess my point is, let the guy use what he wants. He didn't kill the Elephant. I still use a wooden pencil, I didn't cut the tree down. I like my Gold Watch...gold doesn't grow on a vine. My mother didn't Abort me...praise the LORD!! You have nothing more to complain about??? I'll give you a list if you need one. What about the Cow Horn??? Oh yes, we have plenty of those still running around. I Love my Milk and Steak. Great job on the tables. I wish I had the talent and time to do the same. You are in a class of your own. Teach me!!! I would Love to know how. P.S. I won't need any Ivory, I'll take some out of my personal collection. I've had it since 1971. Let us know what your next project will be...we await your notice. A happy wood worker......"BIGD1"
Re: "Dunes"
I must say, "Not allot of woodworkers inspire me, as you do." You have the gift to think out of the box, if you get my point. This box is out of the world, of the normal. Thanks for sharing. BigD1
