I have been a PC user for almost 20 years but lately have become very disillusioned with the PC and Microsoft in general. I am planning on purchasing an Apple next anyway and I think this iPad will be a great first step for me. I have been using a Palm eReader, an eBookwise eReader, a Kindle, a Blackberry and a Toshiba notebook and they are all great but have limitations. I think the iPad will bridge the gap between those devices and a full up desktop unit.
