Re: Pennsylvania Spice Box

This is an exceptional piece that is clearly done by a master. An inspiration.

Re: Bathroom Vanity

I love the through tenons and the fact that you worked a weathered, aged look into the vanity.

Re: Blade brake inventor aims to compete with SawStop

I, personally, feel that anything that keeps me from losing a finger is worth investing in. I'm sure there are people that just don't believe an accident will ever happen to them, but I am not so confident of my own infallibility. There may be situations where you can't use it, but in most situations, either this or Sawstop would give me peace of mind. I would be happy to have either of them and I would use them.

Re: Caption Contest Winner!

Guess the tool I am holding in my left hand.

Re: Caption Contest Winner!

Even Matt's senior pictures were taken in the shop.

Re: Caption Contest Winner!

I feel pretty. Oh, so pretty and witty and gay.

Re: Woodworking in a New York City Apartment

Wow, and I thought having to work in half a 2 car garage was cramped!!

Re: Bow Front Box

Wow, this is beautiful work. The inlay on the front and sides is something that I have used before because I really like the look it gives. I also really like the way walnut and red oak look together.
I am really curious about how you created the star inlay on the top, though. It looks far beyond my current skill level.

Re: Walnut Box

Wow, absolutely amazing!!! The walnut figure is jaw droppingly gorgeous!!!

Re: Gecko Box

Absolutely fantastic! I would like to make something similar, but I'm not sure how you get any degree of accuracy with small digits like toes and such. I would like to do almost the same thing with a horse silhouette. Yes, I know they don't have toes. :-)

Re: "Ironwood" ,the motorcycle

Frigging amazing.

Re: Tool chest with oak tree inlay

The details of this project are beautiful. It's not just a tool cabinet, but a work of art.

Re: Hickory and Red Oak workbench

I wish I could find the time and patience to make an awesome bench like this. I am still working on a bunch of 2x4s screwed together for a bench.

Re: My first Box

As someone who still has tons of "design elements" in everything I make, I can appreciate a piece of work for it's design. If your mom loved it, that's all that matters.
Nice work.

Re: Coffee Table

The inlay work is absolutely amazing! We could've used a picture at an angle, however, so you could see the entire table and get a better idea of the overall work.

Re: For The Love Of Nature

Wow, very nice. I'll bet she was really happy with the work.

Re: Baby Grand Dining Table from reclaimed wood

You need an isometric top view so you can see the surface of the table as well. It is a little difficult to get the full sense of the piece without that view.

Re: Mini Curio Cabinet

Beautiful! I am saving this to my inspirational projects category.

Re: Black Walnut and Ash Restaurant Counter for Thai Restaruant

The color contrast is beautiful. It is primarily dark with light trim, which is the exact opposite of what would come to mind for me. Very nice!

Re: Four Grandfather Clocks

Wow!! I am still trying to find the patience to get through one project at a time. I'm amazed you did four of these!

Re: Maple and walnut room divider & desk

Wow, that couldn't have been cheap for the customer.

Re: Router Table Cabinet

The off center router leaves a lot of room for drawers on the right side. That is innovative. I'm not sure why I have never seen that before.
Beautiful piece of work. I am gonna build a new router table soon and I may borrow your off center idea.
