Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Make Your Own Walking Sticks by Charles Self

Well here I am all laid up in a hospital bed dreaming of my shop. The wife says no way; you can get by a little longer by reading some of those books you allways wanted to. So please send it my way. After all I know I'll read it, then build from it. Thanks in advance

Re: The Woodworking Shows

I agree with a live taping of this demo. Since most of of use can't attend, it would be a great benifit to us that do subscribe to finewoodworking.com as well as the magazine. Personal I have about four old planes at home that deed this kind of attention, and I would love some insight as to where to begin.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: The Wood Finisher's Handbook by Sam Allen

Any book that could help me and the family out would be great. I can see the pages getting dog eared.

Thanks

Craig

Re: Dining Room Table

Cool. Ive also felled a few trees and have made them into furniture pieces. Talk about a great feeling. A question though, you cut down the cherry with green grass around and then ripped into planks when the snow was down(looks that way in the pictures), why?

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Zany Wooden Toys that Whiz, Spin, Pop and Fly by Bob Gilsdorf

With two young woodworkers of my own, this book could come in handy, thanks for considering me.
