Hi, all. This isn't an entry, but I wanted to respond to Chris, who asked if the Southern projects are yellow pine. My book doesn't have Northern/Southern projects, per se -- the projects here were used by both North and South -- however, I do discuss regional differences in wood choices. The bench on the cover, for example, if built from pine would most likely be yellow pine if built in the South, but white pine if built in the North.
