Anna is an engineer by training. For her day job, she helps manufacturing companies design and produce high quality products.

Serpentine Federal Table

Federal style table in English Sycamore.  The inlay is done in holly and ebony.  The piece has a bent lamination front.

My goal was a simple table that would show off the amazing spalting in this piece of wood. I wanted the legs to reflect the wavy spalting in the top.  The top was finished very carefully...

If you are looking for styles that you haven't already written many articles on....

I would like to see more European turn-of-the-century. Styles such as Art Nouveau (galle), Glasgow School (Macintosh) or the modern gothic (Pugin). The Biedermeier style of 50 years earlier is also rarely discussed.
