Cherry Rocking Chair with Walnut accent.

Design or Plan used: Built by techiniques primarily learned from Hal Taylor, with Sam Maloof (and other chair artisan's) influence. I incorporated some design changes to meet my personal preference. Now that I've built one, I feel that the sky is the limit to design. Extremely fun and fulfilliing project.

Toolnaround Toolnaround writes: Im sorry, I just got your message. If its not too late to respond, I understand there is a weight limit of 275 lbs. It is extrememly durable and rock solid. The wieght requirement is more dictated by a persons size to be able to fit in the chair. I actully built it for my wife who is petite. I am 6'1", 200 lbs. and find it extememly durable and comfortable even for my size and hae a frined who is 250 lbs and found eually the same (though I was a little concrned at first). I admit on the next one Im building, I intend to strengthen thicken the main side legs, more for cosmetic purpose. Thanks for your inquiry.

With admiration,
