Dremelman Dremelman writes: Wayne, you have really created an amazing piece here. Too good to be referred to as a 'box'. Rather it is a fine piece of artwork. Your command of the walnuts grain is quite inspiring, especially the way the book-matching was done on the lower portion. The look of the grain just 'pops' up at you. Great focal area.
The piece looks totally complete, with all major parts in perfect proportion and in harmony with one another.
Very impressive work Wayne. Well done.

papamel papamel writes: to- NancyBarnes: Thank you for your comments, With the normal music box movement the winder key is on the bottom of the box. I install the movement upside down with the key up into the flowers in the drawer, then grind the key down and apoxe it to a flower to wind. There is a high leaf that will push the on/off lever when you close the drawer. papa mel...

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean when you say "flower winding music box in drawer." Would you please explain?

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!
