Figured Walnut Secretery. Finished with J.E. Mosers Early American Cherry Aniline Dye and Shellac, finished off with 3 coats of wax.

deermann33 deermann33 writes: I did get the plans from one of Glenns books, I believe it is "Fine Furiture for a Lifetime", I love Glenns books, he does some really good work. His books give you enough info. to get the job done, but you still have lots of figuring to do on your own. Glenns version of this desk was made of curly maple. I had a bunch of figured walnut that I had been sitting on for years, and knew the figure would look really good with the aniline dye and shellac finish.
