The Chairmaker’s Workshop by Drew Langsner.
Author’s reprint edition, 2008.
$50.00; 304 pp.
Originally published in 1997 by Lark Books, The Chairmaker’s Workshop provides information about making post-and rung and Windsor chairs (assisted by many photos and illustrations). Included are instructions and plans for making eleven different chairs. The book also provides information about setting up and equipping a shop. While supplies last, a free set of enlarged plans (originally $16.95) will be included with each book purchased from Country Workshops. Author Drew Langsner has been teaching chairmaking at Country Workshops in North Carolina for thirty years.
