I started this rocker a few years ago as an addition to the new nursery for my daughter. The nursery was finished, but the chair was put on the backburner behind other remodel projects. I finally finished it this spring in a short "vacation" between work projects. The wood is European cherry, and it is finished with a varnish/beeswax mix and polished with butchers wax.
