This is a piece I made from a reclaimed floor joist taken from a warehouse here in Houston.  I wanted to make a box you could keep your secret stuff in (like tiny rocks and souvenir pencils.) The two texas ebony pins lock the lid in place.  

 

Box joint construction.  Shellac and wax finish.

9 1/4"L x 3"W x 2 1/4"T
