My first real from scratch wood working project - My niece wanted a backgammon game - I learned everything from lathe work to resawing and inlay.  Loved the time spent on this.

serpent serpent writes: This looks very nice. The only problem I see is when using it the pieces are hard to place on a hard surface without them moving around. Cork doesn't look quite as nice but, in my opinion, is more usable
