Twin Bed

I made this bed to (almost) match a dresser and night-stand that my wife bought. All joinery is mortise and tenon, the main rails are pinned with brass rods so the bed can be disassembled. It was made from standard 2x4 and 2x6 Western Hemlock boards. The finish is two coats of Honey Pine Satin Stain/Poly. Total cost of the bed was around $60. It took about 3 weeks to build (nights and weekends). The design was based on a bed she saw on the Pottery Barn Kids website.
