This is a custom built joystick controller for the Playstation 3 console gaming system.  The woods used are 1/4" waterfall bubinga and 3/4" spalted curly maple with a MDF frame.  Construction used a combination of power and hand tools.  The electonics are authentic Sanwa and Seimitsu arcade controls from Japan.  The custom interface connects to the Playstation 3 system or a personal computer.  More information on the design and construction can be found on my blog. http://kaytrimskustoms.wordpress.com/2009/01/21/introducing-the-artistic-series/
