The case gives easy access to a great tool.
It looks a bit more like luggage than a tool carrier, but its a tool carrier!
The Worksharp protrudes when the top is open, making it is easy to lift out.
The tool sits in this removable false bottom to keep it from moving side to side.
Wheels, disks and accessories store neatly underneath.

I love my Work Sharp WS3000, but it comes without a case for storage. Neatnik that I am, I decided to make one--it took some design time to figure out how to get the glass wheels, spare disks and accessories into a small box along with a stable holder for the WS3000. I made pockets for the accessories in the bottom and created a “holder” using the cardboard insert from the product box as a router template. The whole thing is made of scrap MDF I had around the shop, and leftover hardware.
