Griffin, End Table
This piece of furniture took me around 1100 hours to make. Carving and marquetry added to a piece of furniture can really take you back in time. When designing this piece I really wanted to add carvings to this piece of furniture without making it to busy. By adding eagle wings & the lions face and violin scrolls. Alone with marquetry of roses. This is the most enjoyable piece of furniture I’ve made so far.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest tables that I have seen. I can see why you spent 1100 hours making the table. I praise your patience and dedication to such a wonderful table.....
Magnificent!! The finest piece I have seen in the gallery so far.
Thank you John & jbfmlm1 for your kind complements. It's a great feeling to have other craftsman complement other craftsman.
This is the triangular table I mentioned in another project Dennis had posted here. It is just an amazing piece. There are few people today that can match his skill and expertize. He has the patience and that commitment to excellence that sets him apart from other artists. I can't wait for his book to come out, and his next project, hopefully I'll be the first to see it on Lumberjocks.com. woodjock aka jockmike2
Dennis, I'm speachless. This is absolutely amazing. The triangular shape really brings it all together. There's no way this could look any better in any other shape. You really brought so many skills together beautifully. My hats off to you.
Dennis, Absolutely stunning!! I can only hope to create such a work of art & craftsmanship in my humble little workshop. Spectacular job!! Kudos to you!! Thanks for sharing.
