Old-School Woodshop Accessories: 24 Tried-and-True Jigs, Fixtures and Tool Storage Projects by Chris Gleason.
Popular Woodworking, 2007.
$24.99; 127 pp.
In the 1930’s and 1940’s a periodical called the “The Deltagram” was published. The publication featured jigs and fixtures to help woodworkers make the most of their tools. Old-School Woodshop Accessories is a collection of 24 of these tips, updated for use in today’s shops. Some of the ideas included in the book are: spiral turning on the tablesaw; perfect circles on the bandsaw; shop-made pocket hole jig. Also included are projects for a shop wall cabinet, a mobile clamp rack, a rolling workstation and a tool caddy.
