I made this blanket chest as a wedding gift for my Brother-In-Law and his new bride.  It's made of rift and quarter-sawn white oak, with a cedar lining.  With a breadboard top, raised panels, and frame and panel construction, this case presented a number of first's for me.  It was finished with dewaxed shellac, a wiping of gel stain, and three coats of Arm-R-Seal.  The recipients were very pleased!
