comments (8) January 24th, 2009 in The GalleryQuartersawn cherry frame with quilted maple and tiger maple veneered panels, and walnut beading and pegs. The top of this hope chest is a bent lamination panel set into a frame and panel. The curved rails of the tops frame were created from solid 16/4 cherry, cut with a router mounted into a radius trammel. The bottom and sliding tray are made of aromatic cedar. The finish is an oil poly mix, and wax.
