This is an old shipping crate that my grate grandparents used to ship their belongings in when they immigrated from England.  The actual box is 21wx42lx24d and made of pine.  It's held together with corner bands and rivets.  I don't know who made it.

I inserted a chest of drawers on the inside after my dad gave it to me.  The chest has 5 drawer, 3 small drawers on top, one deep one in the middle, and a smaller one on the bottom.

The frame is popular and the facing is quarter sawn white oak.  It also contains two wells, one on each side, where I store my lathe tools (each well holds 3 tools).

All the drawers are put together with hand cut dovetails.  The framing was done using pinned mortise and tennion joints.
