This is a formal Dining Room Table I made for a client.  It is constructed from Solid Wenge, Wenge Veneer, Walnut and MDF.  44" x 96" x 31", 144" long with two extensions in.  The columns and trim rings are turned staves.  The apron is a bent lamination of Walnut with Wenge Veneer over it.  The finish is 6 coats of high gloss wipe on poly on the bases, and if I remember right, about 15 coats on the top!  I sanded down each coat pretty aggressively, and basically filled the pores - I definitely would have done this differently in retrospect.  All in all, I was pretty pleased, as was the client
