Why is it called "Poor Man's Ruhlmann"? I used recomposed ebony versus the real thing ($2 sf vs $14), PVC instead of ivory, Mother of Pearl sheets instead of solid pearl, and poplar legs.

But it remains within the ability of any man to enjoy and, if so desired, reproduce the kind of work that caused his craftsmen to pull their hair out. I sell my work to the public but only Ruhlman exists in my home. After all, I'm one eigth French...LOL!
