Table inspired by iconic images of fall aspens blowing in the wind.
Close up of marquetry on table top.  Veneers include walnut burl, yellowheart, myrtle burl, anegre, english oak, and bubinga.
Close up view of marquetry on base.  All marquetry was bevel cut, one piece at a time.

Table inspired by iconic images of fall aspens blowing in the wind.


Table design is original and was inspired by views of fall aspen blowing in the wind.  The solid wood for edging and legs is tiger maple, which was chosen to give impression of shimmering sunlight.  The legs were hand shaped to resemble a small group of tree trunks.
