Bent lam ply, inlayed dyed resin.  Cherry, lacewood, pine, dyed resin.

Entertainment Center with River Panel, part of my River Series(tm).  More to see at www.ConundrumDesigns.com.  At far right is the river lamp "Agua borealis," 6.5' tall, oval in cross-section, useful light spills out both sides.

All ply, both curved and flat, was self-made with cherry veneer in order to keep the reveal the same width.  Drawer pulls are my design, cut and carved from cherry.  Drawers are lacewood veneer with solid edging.

The Entertainment Center is the center piece of this family's living room.  Drawers are built to hold CDs and DVDs, family games, and more.  The center river panel is inlayed dyed resin in a pine surround, attached to the wall so it appears to "float."  Lights are inside the center section with a hidden trap door under the wide screen to change CFLs.  At far right is another in my River Series(tm), the river lamp "Agua borealis," 6.5' tall, oval in cross section, useful light spills out both sides.  To see more in the series, www.ConundrumDesigns.com.

Peter_Alice writes: We are fortunate enough to have several of Scott's pieces in our home, from a wonderful candle holder carved out of a tree root to a full dining room set crafted mainly from Tanzanian muninga wood. We consider all of his work as heirloom pieces. His ideas continue to flow forth ... never the same thing twice and we love it all!

easttonto writes: I have seen a range of Scott Reuman's work, and it is indeed a range: the diversity of his successful creative efforts is amazing. Even though a theme of stream flow runs through much of his work, he's always coming up with startling new ideas, new ways to used materials, new art objects. He seems to be incapable of stale repetition. Those lucky enough to acquire his works can, if they choose, have strikingly individual art works.
