There's no doubt about it, Anatole Burkin is addicted to horsepower. Roaring routers, motorcycles, and other weapons of auditory destruction fill his garage. That might explain why his hearing is failing. However, lasers have improved his vision, he says, and he retains a keen sense of smell, all the better to hunt and gather new varieties of small-batch bourbon. The former editor-in-chief of Fine Woodworking magazine, Burkin is vice president of digital content for The Taunton Press. (See him on his motorcycle in the drawer episode of this series.)
