The latch is brazilian cherry with rock hard maple pin.
Inside the top is 100 year old wormy chestnut. Analog  hydrometer and humidifier are mounted on the lid.
Cigar tray is mahogany and maple. holds approximately 25 cigars.
The base of the humidor is mahogany. Inside is stripped to hold the tray.

This was my first attempt to build a humidor as a gift. The box sides and base are African Mahogany with Black Walnut in the top. The tray inside is African Mahogany and Maple. Underneath the lid is wormy chestnut. The finish is a clear satin lacquer sprayed and rubbed with 0000 steel wool.
