Corner of Jewelry Box
This box was my prototype and is made with walnut, splated maple and curly maple.
This box has a Bubinga veneered top and used cherry, walnut and sapelle.

I made a total of four of these jewelry boxes.  They were Christmas presents for my wife and daughters.  It is my own design and I used Sketchup for the original layout.  This required making six templates for use with an Incra Router Jig.  Each template was printed out one-to-one from the Sketchup drawing and then inserted individually into the jig.  The design required many separate glue-ups prior to the final glue-up.

I used Bubinga veneer and spalted maple for the tops.  Cherry, walnut, oak, sapele and paduck were also used.
