Curly Koa coffee table. I made many of these tables while stationed in Hawaii and working at the wood hobby shop at the submarine base at Pearl Harbor. I made most out of beautiful curly koa. This quality of koa can cost as much as $150 a board foot today so I don't see quite as many go out of my shop any more!!
