Modeled after a Gustav Stickley writing desk (ca. 1900). Quarter sawn white oak with mission brown trans fast dye and Tried and True varnish oil.  The desk is 12 1/4" deep by 26 1/2" wide by 54 1/4" tall. I saw this piece in a book years ago and liked the strapped hinge front and finally got around to re-creating it.  This project took me approximately 220 hours to finish.
