Fine Woodworking LIVE, the magazine's first-ever live event is about to begin. On Thursday, August 2, 2012, FWW magazine's finest contributing editors and authors will converge on the campus of the State University of New York at New Paltz for three days of demonstrations, classes, and just plain fun.
Modern Woodworkers Association to Sponsor Meetup
The MWA is "looking to start the weekend off with a bang." As such, they're sponsoring a get together on the first night of the event. There's no need to be associated with MWA to attend the event. Just bring your love of woodworking to Bacchus Restaurant, Bar & Billiards. MWA has secured a semi-private room and will be at Bacchus at about 7:30-8:00. The event will go until closing time at 1:00am-that is, if they can hang in. Not attending Fine Woodworking LIVE? No worries, you can still hang with the crew. Just be ready to chew the fat, errr, "sawdust."
Be sure to RSVP on MWA's website.
