My shop is located in Coronado CA and encompasses 2 bays of a 3 bay garage, (approx. 22' x 22'). I have a Delta dust collector with the ducting running in the rafters overhead, (4" HDPE pipe from HomeDepot), and flex hose connecting to my equipment. The smaller tools like the planer, jointer and router table are on mobile bases and easy to reposition. I use 2 saw horses and a 3' x 5' sheet of 3/4" MDF for my assembly table when needed.
I retired from a military and airline flying career about 2 years ago and have embarked on my next passion of building furniture. I'm currently working on a walnut armoire for my wife, modeled after a wine cabinet design from a Bob Timberlake catalog. Hope to finish it in about 2-3 months.
