Fishpole storage

Made from what else but, neccessitity. One of my older sons is into fishing quite a bit and needed a place to store his ploes out of the way and together. I did some research and found a couple of different patterns I liked and basically incorporated both into one. The whole system is on casters so it will vertually go anywhere. All the wood used in this project aside from the drawer bottoms and the middle shelf area is reclaimed wood from pallets. Pallets are dismantled, wood is them planned to 1/2" in thickness and cut to size. The side panels, top and bottom are then doweled together and cut for cabinet and support. The drawers are also 1/2" thick and flush mounted for a clean look. I had better add that my wife picked out the drawer handles and bring the whole thing together. took about two weeks to complete with the drying times and having to surface and clean all the wood used. it is fun to find a clean pallet and turn it into something totally useful and maybe last a life time. The storage unit is stained with a poly stain combo from Minwax, Polyshade Classic Oak. Just find it easier and looks awesome. Apply one coat, let dry, wet sand with 400 and apply final coat. Thank you for reading.
