Hippie all natural shoes. Red oak finished with Watco Danish oil. The hardest part was sizing them right and making sure to get all the straps in the right place. Trimmed them very carefully on the band saw many times to get the curves right, especially for the insole, to make sure it mated up with her foot. My wife came up with the idea to rout a recess in the bottom to hold the knots for the leather. We used rubber shelf liner to make a sole, and glued it on with Gorilla Glue.
