This traditional Desk and Bookcase is custom made in solid cherry with Queen Anne and Chippendale influences This desk interior is custom designed for a client for use with a laptop computer, i pad and other modern electronics while keeping a traditional look. The glass secretary has six hand blown glass panes per door. The muntins and mullions are traditionally made with hand cut miters and mortise and tenon joinery. The finish is aniline dye and shellac. This Desk and Bookcase has a total of about 195 various dovetails and each door has 10 mortise and tenons and 24 mitered joints in the structure and 24 mitered joints in the glass trim.
