Let's be honest: Fine Woodworking isn't exactly the stuff of mainstream celebrity-driven media. We're a niche publication that doesn't aim to be fodder for late night television shows. We're a group of editors and readers who pride ourselves on having the gumption, know-how, and yearning to build objects of beauty ourselves (no thank you, Pottery Barn).

Despite that fact, Fine Woodworking found its way into yet another unlikely Los Angeles studio when Parks & Recreation's Nick Offerman stopped by the Ace Broadcasting Network as a guest on Adam Carolla's Ace on the House podcast.  WARNING: This podcast can be, well, a little on the crude side--so listen at your own risk.

Nick's gotten quite a bit of well-deserved attention for his woodworking ability and appeared on Ace on the House for a bit of "paddle talk" (canoe paddles) and to sit in on a few home improvement-related phone calls. You can listen to the podcast directly through the Ace on the House website, or via iTunes.

Thanks to Nick, Adam, and Ray for bringing a bit of Fine Woodworking to sunny LA.
